A Constant Thought Stream
It is after six, another night.
Got my dinner fix and still it’s light,
At times a sluggish day.
There’s not much to say,
Though it did have time
To be in His rhyme,
As I did read and pray
That with Him I would stay.
I praise God for His never changing way.
He is the one constant in my life.
I ask for forgiveness for my sins,
For what I did and did not do this day.
I thank You, Lord, for Your great love,
The forgiveness and hope You do give.
I pray, Lord, for Your true Church this day,
That we follow You word and do not stray.
Lord, hold my hand
As I understand
All You do give
So I may live
Without the world’s sorrow
Again in tomorrow.
