Living In God's Rhyme Podcast Update

I am starting to write this before church and willl finish aftrr church and recording another episode of podcast.  Last Friday Dave and I had the pleasure of recording our second interview for the podcast.  Yes, it will be a few weeks before it will be available.  First we have to release the first interview, which being the first makes sense that we have to release it first.  After church we will be recording Episode 11 (actually Season 2, episode 1) which will be available on July 2nd.

If you haven't listened to a podcast yet, I would encourage you to listen.  I firmly believe that God has led Dave and me to this.  If  you have listened to the first podcast, you know about Dave's hesitation in asking me to do this.  His purpose was to help me sell books, but I have found that we have a deeper purpose and that is to share our stories.  Though we are brothers, our stories are vastly different in some ways.  We discuss some of that, have a few laughs, read some poetry and hopefully by the end of the podcast we have given honor and glory to God.  He is what this podcasts all about.

I will give you a peek into a couple of future podcasts.  Yesterday I attended an event in Port Huron and asked two more people if they would like to be interviewed for the podcast.  Both said yes.  One is an old friend and the other a new friend.  We hope to have others from the area and around the country: Christian non-profits, Christian authors, Christians.

REPLENISHED

Chapter 1

As my faith fades

The darkness of the world

Becomes so bright.

So many shades

Constantly swirled,

Blocking the true light.

I have been prey

So I know I must pray,

Not knowing the words to say,

Knowing He will lead my way,

His love does constantly stay

Beyond the end of my day.

Chapter 2

How odd it seems

To know the mind

That God mends seams

In the fabric we find.

Torn and tattered,

Though not scattered,

If we let HIm be,

There's more we can see.

Epilogue

He knows the time

To give the rhyme.

He knows my mind,

That I will find

The word

I heard

That stirs my heart

So I will start

To live again,

Denying sin.
