I have been thinking of those people I know that are sick, fighting a disease and in need of prayer. This is for all of them.
PRAYING FOR A PRAYER
His dying on the cross
That we might not suffer loss,
The final atonement
By which we are made right
And live in God’s light,
We now can see his face
As we run our daily race.
“It is done,” the veil in the Temple torn.
As He died He opened the door,
The face of God hidden no more
From a people so forlorn.
The Holy of Holys was exposed.
The barriers of God’s dwelling on earth,
Those between God and man were removed
Through the blood of His Son in spite of our worth.
My prayer today is to God the Father,
His Son, Jesus, our intercessor
And the Holy Spirit who prays when we know not how.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Today I pray for one who may wake up in despair, hoping for joy. I’ve seen that fear in loved ones as they made their way through their days. I pray that hope will overcome despair, that your love will overcome doubt. I pray that tears are tears joy at the end of the day. Father I ask for healing of the body of the one for whom this prayer is prayed. I pray, Lord, that the healing power of Your Holy Son, Jesus, will heal this body, this mind, this spirit that has faith in you. Father, I pray that when man has no answer that you will provide an answer through your healing touch. I pray that as one who has faith in you, in the sacrifice of your son for the forgiveness of our sins, who daily acknowledges to everyone that you are loving and faithful, Lord I pray for a complete healing of this one. And through this healing I pray that others would be drawn to you, Lord. I pray that others will believe that you alone are the one true God and that through your grace, by the sacrificial death of your son for the sins of the world they will become one of your blessed children.
Lord, I pray for a miracle in the healing of this one, one who is faithful, who loves you and now is in need.
Bless those who are in prayer, who help with care.
I ask this, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Amen
