Sitting and waiting,
Thinking and relating
Thoughts of another time
To make this night rhyme.
So here I sit
Wanting to quit,
When I hear a voice,
“Son, it is your choice”
“You’ve heard
My word.
You know what I say.
Pray and you’ll find a way.”
“There is always a rhyme
If you give your time
To share with another.
A sister or brother.”
“So, there,
Now share,
And you will
Not be still.”
