Sing a Song of Praise, Season 6, Episode 3

Today’s podcast is about song lyrics. I have written lyrics for a few songs, but only a few with music also. I played the trombone from 5th through 8th grades. I college I bought an alto recorder and eventually graduated to a tenor recorder. I was able to play songs by ear. Later I was able to write the music to a couple of songs by giving the fingering positions on the recorder the same numbers I gave to the lines on the musical staff.

I had actually thought of writing a musical play at one time using the songs.
